Cilinderslot

Cylinder locks consist of a cylinder and a housing. As long as the appropriate key is not inserted in the lock, pins, plates or balls will block the cylinder. Using the right key the cylinder can be turned in the housing and the lock can be opened or closed. Cylinder locks are available with or without a key certificate. Unlimited keys can be created from a lock without a certificate; of locks with a certificate, every added key is registered.
